Insurance, payment, and policy
Psychotherapy is not covered by provincial health plans. However, many extended health benefit plans do cover services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Coverage varies by employer and plan, so it is recommended that you confirm your eligibility and any applicable limits directly with your insurance provider before your first appointment.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Marcia practices under clinical supervision. Receipts will include the co-signature of her supervising Registered Psychotherapist, which many insurance providers require for reimbursement. If you have any questions about whether your plan will cover sessions, it is always best to confirm directly with your provider.
Please note that direct billing to insurance is not offered at this time. Payment is processed securely within the client portal at the time of booking, and receipts are issued automatically so you can submit them to your provider for reimbursement.
A 24-hour cancellation policy applies. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee. If you need to reschedule, please reach out as early as possible and every effort will be made to find an alternative time that works for you.
